My bridal world has been spinning for over 10 years & in March 2023, 14 & Sixpence relocated from Taunton to just outside of Ilminster. 14 & Sixpence is now in a beautiful barn in a peaceful pretty location – the perfect place to find the dress of your dreams! With lots of compliments & even an industry award on our fabulous range of dresses, we offer absolutely stunning gowns with the most beautiful fabrics, luxurious details & every one exclusively to us in this area.
Every appointment is one to one, so your memorable experience of finding your perfect dress starts immediately. I’ll listen to what you’re looking for & help you find the dress which is perfectly suited to your style, shape & personality, as well as your venue, theme & special day. I’m there for you all the way through – from the ‘I said Yes’ to a beautifully pressed dress to collect ready for your ‘Big Day’.

I’m still dreaming about my appointment, it was so magical! Since getting engaged I’ve always worried about the part where I had to find my dress & the experience that came with it. However, Cathy was absolutely amazing & made every minute feel like a fairytale! She listened to everything I said (even though I wasn’t sure myself what I wanted) & matched a different veil to each dress perfectly! She gave me time to talk to my family about each dress & never once made me feel rushed! The shop is beautiful & filled with an amazing array of dresses – I want to do it all over again! xx
